HEALTHY PLAY WORKSHOP OPTIONS
Attending a Healthy Play training teaches all participants the necessary knowledge to successfully implement the program on the following day at their school. We have worked very hard to distill our concepts and information into a practical, eloquent, and simple format. Faculty will be able to easily duplicate this process with their own students.
Our step-by-step approach equips all participants with tools for using Healthy Play as effective classroom and playground management. Your staff will be able to support and enhance positive student social skills, reduce aggression and bullying, foster nurturing behaviors, promote cooperation and maximize involvement via 25 quality activities. Students will be able to learn and practice Healthy Play concepts daily. The training will also instruct teachers how to create and modify additional curriculum material.
Classroom consultations are available. In fact, many schools elect to have Healthy Play staff immediately initiate the Healthy Play process in your classes on the same day of your training. We gladly demonstrate our expertise in using this process while modeling many useful techniques for your staff to learn.
Additionally, the Healthy Play training is a warm, relaxing and stimulating team-building retreat. Approximately 75% or more of your time at the training will be spent doing “hands-on” activities with each other. You’ll all appreciate this enjoyable time together filled with bonding and laughter.
Of special note is the fact that we use less than fifty dollars in equipment. Excess expenses to purchase equipment are either not necessary or very minimal should you choose to duplicate our materials.
CLASSROOM/PLAYGROUND CONSULTATIONS:
Individual classroom and playground consultations provide focus on specific classroom and playground populations. These consultations can target problem areas or challenging classrooms as well as take identifiable classes and playground groups that are already demonstrating excellent response to Healthy Play methodologies to the next successful step. Individual classroom consults are done in 55 minute to one hour sessions.
Only one Healthy Play Trainer conducts classroom consults. Playground consults may require two HP trainers and fees will reflect that.
Business Seminars & Teambuilding
Our business seminar, the Professional Applications of Play on Productivity is a seminar that focuses on creativity, humor and play as the foundation to improve personal and professional performance. Healthy Play programs guarantee laughter, build trust, support innovation, reduce stress while generating a lot of fun! We believe play and humor are the most natural and certainly the most enjoyable ways to accomplish any objective.
Healthy Play designs each program to meet your organization's goals while keeping focus on creating community and learning as we play. We use dozens of activities designed to help an individual experience a day of contentment and release while interacting effectively with co-workers. By putting the spirit of humor and play into the work place, cooperation increases and productivity soars!
Navigating Relationships*

Personal success is dependent upon how deeply we can connect with ourselves, others, and our communities. Student behavioral challenges that are brought to our attention as counselors, teachers, parents and youth-serving professionals almost all have a common thread of the lack of empathy and an inability to negotiate simple and complex relationships.
Our students now live in a world that often annihilates critical thinking, empathy, and face-to-face dialogue. This, in-turn, fosters isolation, extrinsic motivation, loss of joy and drive creating a pathway towards “sensation” but not “connection.”
However, the very good news is that when students feel deep genuine connections, with other students and the caring adults in their lives, they naturalistically gravitate towards wanting meaningful and healthy relationships.
All we need to do is gift them with simple foundational concepts on how to create healthy bonds and provide experiential opportunities for relevant and courageous conversations.
This is the key for personal happiness, optimizing life-long learning, empathy, and creating deep connections with others. More than ever, learning how to navigate relationships with a strong foundation of empathy is how we best prepare our students, not only through K- 12, but for college and post-secondary school life experiences.
